PIPA has released Issue 48 of POP004 – Polyethylene Pipe and Fittings Compounds.
The update includes:
- Reconformity of Hanwha TotalEnergies Petrochemical Co – XS10B (Black)
- New listing of stripe and jacket materials from Apollo Plastics
POP004 provides a listing of polyethylene (PE) pipe compounds evaluated against the requirements of AS/NZS 4131 along with stripe and jacket compounds assessed for use with PE pipes manufactured to AS/NZS 4130. The guideline also identifies PE100 materials with enhanced properties including PE100-RC and PE100 HSCR materials.
The guideline supports industry confidence by providing an independently reviewed reference for compounds used within the Australian plastic pipes industry.
