PIPA is pleased to welcome Lara Robertson as our new Executive General Manager.
Lara brings 14 years’ experience in the building products industry, supported by a Bachelor of Engineering specialising in Ceramic Engineering and an MBA. Her career at Brickworks spanned technical, business development, sales and general management roles, including three years in the United States and leadership of two cross-functional manufacturing divisions.
Through her involvement with Urban Development Institute Australia (UDIA), Think Brick/CMAA Concrete Masonry Association Australia and Australian Brick & Blocklaying Training Foundation (ABBTF), Lara brings an appreciation of the role industry associations play in advancing technical knowledge, strengthening collaboration and representing a united industry voice.
Lara looks forward to connecting with PIPA members and stakeholders, building on the association’s work across advocacy, education, technical guidance and sustainability.
The appointment marks a transition for Cindy Bray who is stepping down after six and a half years leading PIPA. Following a one-month handover Cindy will continue to contribute through her consultancy seeing through key PIPA projects.
We thank Cindy for her leadership and contribution to the industry and warmly welcome Lara to PIPA.
