PVC Recycling Scheme a Focus or World Earth Day Celebrations

As countries across the world come together today, Friday 22 April to celebrate World Earth Day, the Construction Plastics Recycling Scheme partners celebrated today with breakfast events held at Enoggera Reece Plumbing Centre and Tradelink Woolloongabba and to promote the progress of the scheme. A video was launched to highlight the scheme and to show how PVC off-cuts are used in the manufacture of new plastic pipes. The scheme aims to educate and change behaviours when it comes to the disposal of PVC off-cuts, working collaboratively with the broader industry to provide easy and accessible drop off points and helping to divert waste from landfill, which can be recycled into a long life product. It also shows how smart, efficient and sustainable plastic pipe systems are!
