The Australian Pipelines and Gas Association (APGA) has just released version 6 of the Code of Practice (CoP) for Upstream Polyethylene Gathering Networks for the coal seam gas industry. This latest version includes key updates to enhancing design protocols, updated safety measures and more clarification on operational requirements for gathering networks.
PIPA played a large contributing role to the update and publication of V6 CoP, our Executive General Manager represented the plastic pipes industry on the steering committee and PIPA’s had three technical representatives in the CoP Technical Committee.
Please note that as part of the Queensland legislation, there is a time period of 6 months in which to adopt the latest update.
