Viva Energy is the sole manufacturer of polypropylene in Australia and Australia’s major importer of polyolefins and solutions, including PE-100 HDPE. Our facility at the Viva Energy Hub in Geelong produces polypropylene, a base material used to produce diverse plastic products such as flexible packaging films, labels and bank note substrate, non-woven fibres, houseware and consumer products, caps and closures, rigid tubs, trays and pots, blow moulded jars and bottles, stationary and industrial sheeting, profiles and piping. Our local market development laboratory provides advanced technical and product development support for our polymer products.
We also supply high performance plastic compounds, masterbatches, resins and thermoplastic elastomers from our Mordialloc site. We manufacture masterbatches and polymer compounds used in a broad range of applications, including consumer goods and a variety of other end-markets such as automotive, agriculture and construction.
Along with local manufacturing, we partner with global leading polymer brands to provide our customers with a comprehensive range of products. Our partners have a worldwide network of research and development centres focused on developing and testing polymer technology to meet customer needs.
Viva Energy is one of Australia’s leading energy companies and supplies approximately a quarter of the country’s liquid fuel requirements. It is the exclusive supplier of high-quality Shell fuels and lubricants in Australia through an extensive network of more than 1,330 service stations across the country.
