Dixon Industries is a privately owned company that was founded in South Australia in 1973 by Norm Dixon, to design and manufacture butt fusion equipment for the natural gas reticulation industry. Today, more than forty five years later, Norm Dixon still owns and operates the business.
Sold under the FUSIONMASTER® trademark, Dixon equipment has achieved a reputation for excellence of engineering, ease of use, and the ability to survive in the toughest of Australian conditions. Many of the first machines ever built are still operating in the field.
Not only has the FUSIONMASTER® brand become the first choice of many Australian polyethylene pipe installers in mining, natural gas, water, irrigation, telecom and civil installations, clients now vary from local one man operators to multinational corporations and equipment is used in many different countries.
